In the first-ever furniture store ratings book, Furniture Hot Spots: The Best Furniture Stores and Websites Coast to Coast, I reviewed hundreds of furniture stores around the country, from antiques to contemporary, from inexpensive to expensive, including chain stores. In order to get a true picture of how the stores stacked up, I went undercover into all of these stores and acted as a regular shopper, asking the kinds of questions shoppers should ask, all the while reviewing stores based on quality, service, price and ambiance. Since the book has been released, I have returned to each of these cities and taken TV viewers on a virtual reality tour of the stores, sharing my best kept secrets right in their own backyards!
